Will Carter Drops New Album ‘Good Bad Idea’ on April 12

With his latest single “Too Much Fun” available now, soulful Texas country rocker Will Carter follows up with his sophomore solo album. Titled Good Bad Idea, it releases on Friday, April 12. That same evening, Carter and his band, plus guest artist Briana Adams, will play live sets and greet fans at his hometown release party. Festivities begin at 9:30 p.m. April 12 at Firehouse Saloon, 5930 Southwest Freeway in Houston (firehousesaloon.com). On Sunday, March 24, fans can also catch Carter at the ninth annual Future Faces Show. Created by the Texas Regional Radio Music Awards Show and Radio Summit to introduce “the top new talent of the Texas Red Dirt Music genre,” the event will feature Carter and other young artists in an intimate “in-the-round” acoustic setting, after which the audience chooses the best performance of the night. The winner will perform the following night at the T3R Awards in Arlington Music Hall. Born in Katy, Texas, Carter debuted as a singer at the Sealy Fantasy of Lights Festival when he was just 3 years old. He sang lead with Texas dancehall headliners The Emotions before launching his solo career in 2016 with his first album, With You.
