Ronnie Dean Tinsley’s “Must Be Nice” To Texas Radio Today
Popular Phrase Comes To Life with Tongue-In-Cheek Delivery
(Houston, Texas) — Ronnie Dean Tinsley is pleased to announce that “Must Be Nice,” the second Texas Country/Red Dirt radio single from his debut album RENEGADE, is “going for adds” now. “Must Be Nice” is being promoted by Gilligan Promotions and follows the release of his debut single, “Southern Ways.”
As southern as the day is long, musically and lyrically, this tune “Must Be Nice” is born from the snarky phrase uttered under one’s breath when someone shows off a new ride, fancy clothes, or brags of some other coveted possession or activity. The tongue-in-cheek delivery is on target for the working class as its quirky, funny and sarcastic tone is a harder version of “Good ol’ Boys” from The Dukes of Hazzard. Featuring a really twangy, heavy honky-tonk sound with big choruses, it is garnished with Texas-style banjo and pedal steel guitars.
“This song literally came from me and a bud joking around the coffee pot for about 10 years,” said Tinsley. “Someone would come in and say, ‘man, I got a new Harley Davidson,’ and we’d look at each other and say, ‘muuuuusst beee nice.’ Finally, I jotted it down on my song writing to-do list of working titles and made it happen. I think when I sat down to write this one it took all of about an hour to flesh it out since it was so true. It’s a super fun tune that I think will make everyone say, ‘yeah, been there’.”
In addition to debuting on the Texas Country/Red Dirt and Americana radio scenes, Tinsley’s outlaw demeanor paved the way for him to be cast as a villain in Despertar contigo, a new syndicated TV novella series produced by Pedro Damian for Televisa.
Bringing an “out of the box” concept to the musical landscape, Tinsley’s RENEGADE is an endeavor defining his role in Outlaw Country/Americana. His debut single, “Southern Ways,” was featured in the overseas market and was #9 nationally on IndieWorld Country Record Report.
Looking to artists like Shooter Jennings, Jamey Johnson, Aaron Lewis and Hank Williams III, Tinsley aims to travel down a newly worn path of the modern outlaw movement with alt-rock vocals and gritty southern arrangements that are all his own.
RENEGADE is available now at major digital retailers and on Tinsley‘s website through INgrooves Music Group and indieExtreme; purchase it now at iTunes, Amazon and Google Play.
