Success Stories

The moments we have seen our artists achieve a goal, see a dream come true, sign a deal and gain the honors they had worked so hard for. The moments were their success story….and we so loved being part of seeing that happen for them! Here are a few that have made it all worth it…..

Kyle Hutton was our first artist to have a song appear on the Texas Music Chart! It was our FIRST radio success ever! “Coming Home” off of his record “Coming Home” produced by Lloyd Maines went to #10 on the chart!! Later he would see his song “Boy Down Here in Texas” go all the way to #5!!  Over the 6 years that Kyle worked with us, we did a lot of exciting things with radio, festivals, fairs and an event which was held at Puffabelly’s in Spring, TX and featured singer-songwriters such as Tony Arata, Bobby Boyd and more. This show was the precurser for the VERY popular syndicated radio show “Real Life, Real Music” which Kyle hosts at Dosey Doe in The Woodlands, TX.

Stephanie Urbina Jones – Adding spice and fire to the roster, iE had the privilege of seeing Stephanie’s first single, “God Loves it When We Dance,” go to #10 on the Texas Music Chart. Her second single, “Shakin’ Things Up,” performed even better and rose to #1 where it stayed for five weeks! One of very few female artists to grace the #1 spot on that chart, her success and immense talent landed her a slot on the Willie Nelson 4th of July Picnic where she sang “Crazy” with Willie himself!

Matt Brouwer – Taking iE into the world of Christian music, Matt’s successes included being nominated for several Covenant Awards at the Gospel Music Awards in Canada, winning Best Folk Song of 2010 with “The Other Side” featuring Vince Gill and Amy Grant, and rejoicing as the single “Sometimes” reached the top 15 on the MediaBase CCM AC chart! iE also introduced Matt to Grammy award winning producer, Michael Omartian,  who helped Matt create his 2011 Juno Award winning album WHERE’S OUR REVOLUTION.

Evangeline – As the first Hot AC/Top40 band for iE, their album WE’RE ALRIGHT DOWN HERE, produced by Robbie Seay earned them a Billboard Top 200 single with “Rain” in 2007.

The Sonflowerz – Releasing their album ALL OVER THE WORLD while working with iE, their first single, “My Adoration,” went to #4 on the Inspo R&R chart in 2008.

FIKE (previously known as Fike & Dana Band) – Armed with high goals when iE signed them in 2009, FIKE was introduced to Worship Leader magazine who awarded them top honors as the New Artists of the Year and featured them regularly in the magazine. Capitalizing on a personalized development strategy, iE was the catalyst of Richie Fike being signed to a publishing deal with Integrity Music Publishing and, ultimately, a recording contract. As a result of this initial partnership with iE, the album THE MOMENT WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR and the single, “Wait,” were released in 2012. Recent success has included Richard Fike being nominated for a 2015 Dove Award as a songwriter of Best Song nominee, “We Believe,” which was recorded by the multi-award winning Christian Rock group Newsboys.

Nick Verzosa – A rising star on the Texas Country scene, iE introduced Nick to Texas singer-songwriter and producer Walt Wilkins and the two have been making great music since! Nick’s first full length album SHE ONLY LOVES ME garnered two Top 30 Texas Music Chart and Texas Regional Radio Report hits and the title cut rose to #28 in the Fall of 2011. His single, “I Wouldn’t Answer,” was included as a selection on the 1st round Grammy Ballot for Best Country Song! Nick tours throughout Texas and Oklahoma 200 dates a year and is quickly becoming a fixture in the Texas Music scene

Savvy (The Wannabe’s starring Savvy) – A fun project to work, iE was on board as this pop group’s star rose quickly on the terrific TV sitcom “The Wannbe’s.” The show is a big hit in Australia, Latin America and was picked in the USA by on STARZ Family! With all the excitement surrounding the group, Universal/Cash Money decided to cash in on their growing success and signed them to a record deal at the end of 2011.

Grant Harrison – Signed in 2012, iE developed a plan for the recording and release of Harrison’s first EP IN THE CLOUDS. Connecting him with producer AJ Vallejo (of the renowned Austin band, Vallejo), the EP and music video for single “Just a Little More Often” was released in June of 2013. In 2014, Harrison signed a co-publishing and management deal with April Sound Entertainment Group; a publishing admin deal with Los Angeles-based company, Reel Muzik Werks (http://www.reelmuzikwerks.com/), followed. RMW selected Grant and his band to perform at the 2014 AIMP Showcase during the Billboard/Hollywood Reporter Film and TV Conference in Hollywood and the AIMP Christmas Party at BMI in Los Angeles.

Breelan Angel – In 2012, iE signed country singer/songwriter Breelan Angel to release her first single, “It’s My Turn,” and to develop a solid fan-base on social media. Four singles have followed (“Halfway To Wasted,” “Double Standards,” “Pocket Change,” and “She Made Your Bed”) and Breelan has charted on several charts including MusicRow, Texas Regional Radio Report, Texas Music Chart and Billboard Indicator during her career; her latest single, “She Made Your Bed,” achieved the #1 spot on the European Hot Disc Top 40 chart where it held its position for two weeks. Her debut album, DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS, received critical acclaim from noted sources and, currently, iE is promoting the new EP DIAMOND IN A RHINESTONE WORLD.

Parker McCollum – iE released Parker’s first EP A RED TOWN VIEW in late 2013. In 2014, they built a top-notch team of industry experts to plan, market and release Parker’s first full-length album, THE LIMESTONE KID. The album, launched in late February 2015, was with incredible reviews and attention from top websites, venues and radio stations. His first single, “Meet You In The Middle,” was #1 on the Spotify City Charts for Plano, Garland and Ft Worth, Texas charts. His second single, “High Above the Water,” rose within the first few weeks of release to the top 50 on the Texas Music Chart and Texas Regional Radio Report. Parker and his band are touring Texas and beyond performing at the top venues with sold out shows and record breaking attendances! His first year of touring will culminate with his debut at the famous Billy Bob’s in Ft Worth in October 2015.

Moonlight Social – Through a partnership with April Sound Entertainment Group, Moonlight Social became a part of the iE roster in 2013. Success for Moonlight Social ensued and they finished out the year as one of the Best New Bands in Austin and a feature as a rising artist on Nashville-produced TV show, “Welcome To Indie Country.”  In 2014, they graced the stage of the sold-out Country USA Festival in Wisconsin, represented Texas at Indie Week Canada 2014, placed among the Top 4 (out of 25 finalists) in The Recording Conservatory of Austin’s “Unsigned Artist Competition 2014,” competed as a finalist for Indstruktibl Clothing line’s “IND Phenom Talent Search 2014,” and traveled to Georgia to play Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Social Club. Since February 2015, the duo has released two singles to radio, “Heading South” and “Rub A Little Dirt On It,” and also appeared at the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards during the RAM TRUCK ROUNDUP as part of the ACM Party for a Cause Festival!
