Hey Guys,

Big news around here is still the JUNO win! What a
huge encouragement it was to be there in St. John’s, Newfoundland with
my girlfriend Hannah for the awards ceremony. It was definitely one of
the highlights of my career thus far. To be included in the Canadian
music scene and just be emersed in all the talent and energy that
descended upon St. John’s that weekend was really special. Huge props to
fellow nominees: Steve Bell, Janelle, FM Static, and Thousand
Foot Crutch
, who all released awesome music this year and make
Canada proud.

Making the “Where’s Our Revolution” CD is as close
to pure joy musically as I’ve ever experienced over the 9 years I’ve
been making music. The whole experience of working with Michael Omartian
and Co., traveling for 10 months prior while writing the songs, and
then sharing them on the road, it’s just really cool to have all that
hard work recognized, and I am humbled and thrilled how all of you, my
friends, have stuck with me over the years and supported and prayed for
me through all the miles traveled. The gift of being able to make music
for a living is not something I ever want to take for granted, so thank
you all, here’s to what lies ahead, may God continue to lead us all,

In Peace and Love,

Matt
