The traveling bluesmen began their creative collaboration in 2008. For the next three years they poured their souls and sweat through the hissing amplifiers and microphones, and onto the pages. Zombie Nation was born from thirty years collective experience playing the blues, along with multiple album successes between them. McKnight broke into the music scene with his debut album Braid My Hair which fans and critics acknowledged as a “breath of fresh air.” He followed up with the album The Last Country Store (2005) which earned him chart spots internationally and in the US. He then established himself with Supa Good (2007) which merited an independent music award nomination for “Best Blues Song.” McKnight’s friend and partner Bob Bogdal has been belting the blues through his harmonica for twenty years and running. From a kitchen table record distribution to national tours in 18-wheelers, every artist has different needs and different dreams. Where does a manager enter the picture? Panelists include three managers who work with several of the hottest acts in the Texas music industry today:
