NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb 2010) – Indie Extreme recording artist, Nick Verzosa will be in the studio starting late February to begin work on his sophomore release. A few years ago, Verzosa gave up the life he knew in pursuit of a musical career.  He sang with the accompaniment of his first band, Johns Guns, who released their debut album, titled “Buy Sell Trade,” in 2007, an album predominantly penned by himself.  Verzosa has since held a solo career and has been described as both classic and innovative.  His song, “Come to Drink of It”, placed first out of hundreds of nominees, for the 2008 Indie International’s Songwriting Competition, in the country music category. Verzosa has continued to write and perform 100-150 dates per year, and is getting ready to head back into the studio to produce 6 song EP.

Verzosa will be teaming up with legendary producer and songwriter Walt Wilkins. Wilkins’ songwriting efforts have been linked to Pat Green, Ricky Skaggs, and Guy Clark, to name a few.  Wilkins  has also released a personal project, “Diamonds in the Sun”, which has shown up on the Americana Music Association’s Top 100 albums two years in a row.  The combined efforts of Verzosa and Wilkins will be noteworthy, and something to look forward to hearing.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 2010) – Indie Extreme was thrilled to discover that two of the company’s artist’s, Richie Fike and Matt Brouwer, were included in the 1st round of voting for the Gospel Music Association’s Dove Awards. Black Shoe Records/Indie Extreme recording artist Matt Brouwer received 1st round voting candidacy for two of his latest singles, Sometimes and Come Back Around, in the Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year category. Brouwer’s singles, from his album “Where’s Our Revolution,” have received radio play across the USA and Canada. Sometimes has also been steadily climbing the Billboard’s Christian AC Chart into the top 20 since its release this past fall. “Where’s Our Revolution” was produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Michael Omartian. MIAMI, Florida (January 16, 2010) - In the advent of Valentines Day, singer Alvaro Torres is releasing his song “Nuestro Amor” (Our Love), the second single from his latest release titled “Muy Personal” (Very Personal).

Since the release of his newest album last October, Alvaro has become very popular among various radio stations in Latin America and the United States. He has also climbed to the #3 spot on Billboard’s Christian Music Sales Chart.

“I’m very thankful for the fan support, but even more for God’s support,” said Alvaro Torres. He believes that it is by the grace of God that he is alive today and able to share what the Lord has given him.

As in several of his previous albums, where he has duets with amazing singers like Marisela, Jose Feliciano, and the late Selena, the Salvadorian singer’s new album features  singer Dulce on this beautiful duet. Torres and Dulce came together to sing “Nuestro Amor” (Our Love).

“Besides being very talented, Dulce is a dear friend. She is very loved by the Hispanic community,” said the award-winning singer-songwriter. Alvaro has collaborated with Dulce in the past by composing some of the best-known songs of the renowned Mexican singer like “Aun lo Amo” (I Still Love Him).

Most of the songs on his new album are totally Christ-centered. However, there are four songs on the album “Muy Personal” with social, humanitarian and romantic themes, like the song “Nuestro Amor.”
As its name suggests, the song is about love for a partner. Alvaro said, “in the midst of a society where there are so many marriages that end in disaster, this song conveys the importance of keeping the promise that was made to God.”
Regardless of his conversion to Christianity, Alvaro Torres says he will continue singing about love and disaffection, two feelings that have inspired him to write some of the most romantic songs ever written in the history of Latin music.

Smith, and Amy Grant.

Kaitlyn co-wrote two of the CD’s most memorable songs, “Daddy, I Love You” and “Dreams Come True.”  “Daddy, I Love You” is a heart-stirring ballad written by a loving daughter to her doting dad as she grows up. “Dreams Come True” is remarkable not only in the way the chorus’ rapturous classical melody sticks in your head but also because it was the first song Kaitlyn ever started writing, at only four years old.
